Flirt continues O'Brien fillies' domination

In-form trainer Danny O’Brien started Saturday in style with a two-state two-year-old double at Flemington and Morphettville.

O’Brien combined with jockey Brett Prebble to win the opening race at Flemington - The Jack Styring Plate (1000m) - with unbeaten Snitzel filly Moldova.

He then completed the double when Absolute Flirt won the AAMI Queen Adelaide Stakes (1050m) under the guidance of Damien Oliver.

The victory was the second-straight for the daughter of Stratum and her first at Stakes level.

Both Absolute Flirt and Moldova started favourite in their respective races and their victories continues a great run for the O’Brien stable.

It took his tally to 12 victories in the past month at a strike-rate of better than 25%.
