AGENTE BREAKS THROUGH AT GEELONG

A perfectly judged front-running ride from Jamie Mott saw three-year-old Agente Fiscale score his maiden victory at Geelong on Friday.

It was the Dreamscape gelding’s eighth start and Mott was full of praise of the 1733m win after leading from start to finish.

“He deserved this win as he has been ultra consistent with four second placings before today’s win,” Mott said.

“We were able to control the tempo out in front and he gave a strong kick to hold off his rivals.

"He was there to be beaten, but that was a performance of a horse that will win more races.”

Remarkably the Victorian bred horse took his career stakes earnings to almost $80,000 thanks to Super Vobis bonuses.

Trainer Danny O’Brien is planning to keep Agente Fiscale to 1700m at his next start as the gelding looks to make it successive wins.
