Winning ways continue for One Faster

It may have taken him until start nine to clock up his first win, but Uluru Stud's One Faster is making up for lost time after securing his third win of his preparation at Pakenham on Friday.

Apprentice Liam Riordan was having his first ride for trainer Danny O'Brien aboard the four-year-old but he made the most of the opportunity guiding the gelding to an easy victory.

"Liam rode him perfectly. I love when a young rider listens to instructions. We asked him to lead as the horse runs his best races when he is out front and to pinch a gap entering the straight and he did exactly that," O'Brien said.

"One Faster is a different horse when he can find the rail and he also ways has a crack, but he seems to rail so effortlessly compared to being untractable when he is out wide."
