ROCKING ALONG

Three-year-old gelding Rock The Bar showed he is a horse to follow with a dominant win at Pakenham on Thursday night.

The son of Toronado set tongues wagging last Friday following a sharp track gallop at Moonee Valley where he held Te Akau's Group 1 superstar Imperatriz, and that form looked ideal for BM58 at Pakenham on a Thursday night.

Carrying 61,5kg, jockey Blake Shinn took Rock The Bar to the lead and he made every post a winner to score the win.

"I think he is a nice metro horse of the future," Shinn said post race.

"Danny's team is going super and this bloke is another nice progressive horse that they in the stable. He was dominant tonight and there will be better races in store for him for sure."

Rock The Bar,  who was a $60,000 Adelaide Magic Millions Purchase, has won $45,950 thanks to his two wins from three career starts.
