PUNTERS PARADISE
Short-priced favourite Gold Coast Belle sealed back-to-back wins with a dominant performance in the 1400m Benchmark 74 at Caulfield on Saturday.
Gold Coast Belle, trained by Danny O'Brien, stalked the speed under jockey Mark Zahra and put paid to the opposition in a matter of bounds at the top of the straight.
"Even going to the gates, I thought this filly is all class," Zahra said.
"Got through the going nicely and lobbed in a nice spot the way the track is racing.
"(Jockey Jamie Mott) went steady (on leader Regal Tycoon) and really quickened and the fact he couldn't drop me off, I picked up without much effort.
"She's definitely going places."
