O'BRIEN UNEARTHS ANOTHER NICE FILLY
Trainer Danny O'Brien looks to have earthed another nice filly with Paris Winds winning impressively first-up at Sale on Sunday.
The NZ-bred filly was having her third start and was able to stalk a hot speed before taking over and winning the 1012m race comfortably.
Jockey Lachy Neindorf was very pleased with the performance.
"She was tough. I don't usually like dragging the field up to a runaway leader, but she trucked up and then put them away easily," Neindorf said post race.
"She was very strong through the line so i would think that she would handle an increase in trip without any issues."
Danny O'Brien's Racing Manager Jack Howard said it was great to repay the owners for their patience with the win.
"The owners allowed us to give her a break last prep when she wasn't ready and she has returned a mature horse and that could be the making of the filly," Howard said.
