KAH TRIP WORTH IT

Gun jockey Jamie Kah's trip to Ballarat for one ride was made worthwhile when progressive stayer Irish Exchange won on Tuesday.

The son of Shamus Award looked to have the race well in his keeping with 300m to run, but the race favourite was made to work for his 2000m maiden victory by Flame Of Venice.

"We were going to win by much further, but he had a think about it when he loomed up so I think adding blinkers to him for next start will help his focus and get a more rounded performance from him," Kah said post race.
