HAT-TRICK FOR EXTREME PRIDE

Extreme Pride made it three wins on the trot with an effortless performance at Sale on Thursday.

Trainer Danny O’Brien has the daughter of I Am Invincible flying after she joined his team earlier this year, with jockey Crai Williams declaring there are better things in store for the four-year-old.

“She has been terrifically well placed by Danny, and she now has confidence that I would expect she can continue on her winning way,” Williams said.

“Today she was great as she was able to quicken off a slow tempo and put the race away, but with speed on I would think she would be even better.”

The win bought up a double for the stable after Zoujea’s excellect maiden win earlier in the card. This win took O’Brien’s tally to 15 for the season, pushing him up to third in the Victorian Premiership standings.

Williams almost made it a treble on the day for the in-form stable, when he was nosed out on Kiwi Queen Leonora in the race following this win.
