GLITZING HER RIVALS

Glitzing continued her excellent progression on Friday with a fighting win to make it back-to-back victories at Echuca.

The three-year-old has now won her two starts since  her encouraging placing on debut, and the filly had to dig deep to win in a blanket finish of the 1100m BM64 event.

"This filly wants to win, which is a great attribute to have," jockey Liam Riordan said post-race.

"You find out how good horses are on how quickly they win their second race and that fact she has come straight out of maiden grade and won again is great sign for her future."

The Starspangledbanner filly has won over 1100m and 1200m and connections will be hoping the rising four-year-old continues her excellent form into the new racing season.
