GLITZING CONTINUES TO DAZZLE

The rise and rise of Glitzing continued with an tough victory at Sandown on Wednesday.

The filly started this preparaton unraced and is now four wins from six starts, and a metro winner after today's performance over 1300m.

Trainer Danny O'Brien's placement of the mare through the campaign has been expceptional as she has won at Echuca (twice), Geelong and now in town at Sandown.

"She keeps stepping up to the mark every time they have raised the bar with her," winning jockey Damian Lane said post race.

"Today she got challenged and had a fight on her hands, but she toughed it out and got the job done which was great to see as she has been doing it easily in the grades below."

The daughter of Starspangledbanner has amassed $86,650 through the preparation and has won on heavy, slow and good rated tracks.

"She is showing how versatile she is and we still haven't found out what her level is yet, which is great," Lane said.
