Bush Aviator to take flight at the Valley

Talented two-year-old Bush Aviator will be out to collect further black-type success at Moonee Valley tonight.

The Danny O’Brien-trained colt looks to be a strong chance in the Listed Sportingbet St Albans Stakes (1200m) and with victory in the race, the two-year-old would be assured a start in the $3.5M Golden Slipper in three weeks time.

The Stratum progeny was a first-up Listed Elwick Stakes winner in Tasmania (pictured), before finding the Blue Diamond too strong, however the tep back in grade tonight will be in his favour.

"The horse has thrived since the Diamond and black-type races don't come around all that often when you are fit and well so we will give him chance at this level again in this event," O'Brien said.

Other features on tonight's Valley program include the Group 2 Top Cut Alister Clark Stakes, the Listed Trojan Hand Tools Night Sprint, and the Essendon Mazda 55 Second Challenge.
